Who can take the Due Diligence Workshop?

What are the purposes of the Due Diligence Workshop?

Our Human Rights Due Diligence Induction Workshop will be organized through the sponsor companies so that all their suppliers can take it.

This will be carried out either in person or virtually, depending on the facility to do so according to the corporate dynamics of each Sponsor Company.

What if you are an SME and don't have a Sponsor Company, or if you are a large company just starting your human rights due diligence journey and want to know if Humane-Biz is for you? Don't worry, you can also take our workshop. Humane-Biz will be the Sponsor for SMEs or suppliers that do not have it and large companies can also take it.

Companies that take the workshop will receive a Certificate of Participation free of charge and without any commitment to register with Humane-Biz.

The Induction Workshop on Human Rights Due Diligence for SMEs and Suppliers will have two main purposes:

1. Train companies and help them identify their risks of adverse impacts on human rights.

Companies attending the Workshop will be trained in Human Rights Due Diligence, gaining knowledge about this vital process that is increasingly transforming from a key tool for self-regulation and self-management of risks, into a full compliance element and market requirement.

They will also be provided with the tools to begin to identify and manage their risks of adverse human rights impacts.

2. Explain to the companies what Humane-Biz consists of, what is the process to be followed, and what are its benefits when it comes to increasing competitiveness.

At the Workshop, once companies understand the benefits and the need to implement their human rights due diligence processes, it will be explained how Humane-Biz can help them to properly implement their seemingly complex processes according to the highest international standards, as well as the other benefits of being a Humane-Biz Company.

What are the benefits for my company of taking the Due Diligence Workshop?

1. Be able to identify and manage their risks of adverse human rights impacts, and the risks they pose to the company itself.

2. You will understand what Humane-Biz is and what benefits it can bring to your company in terms of better access to financing and increased competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets.

3. You will receive a Certificate of Participation in the Humane-Biz Human Rights Due Diligence Workshop.

What is the cost of the Due Diligence Workshop?

The cost of the Human Rights Due Diligence Induction Workshop is included in the investment paid by the Sponsor Companies for the registration to the Humane-Biz Program. Therefore, the Workshop will be completely FREE OF COST for its participants.

What if you don't have a Sponsor Company? You can still take our Workshop at a very low cost, USD $100 for SMEs and Suppliers, and USD $350 for large companies. The workshop for companies sponsored by Humane-Biz will be held periodically virtually.

What is the duration of the Due Diligence Workshop?

Our Due Diligence Induction Workshop will last two hours, after which attendees will obtain their Certification of Participation in the Workshop free of charge.
